In all that we do and see everyday there are many things that leave their indelible mark.
Sometimes when we face a situation from which we don’t see any immediate recovery we temporarily lock our minds into the worst foreseeable future.
Until the days pass and we understand that it wasn’t so bad.
It’s controversial to me, because it seems that expecting the worst is part of the healing.
When we compare the world that we had imagined with the world that we actually have we feel a sudden relief. It might be brief, but slowly it becomes dominant until we adapt.
There are many ways to go on, I choose serendipity.
The photo in this post is Dali’s version of Newton. Destitute from his vital organs and mind, a name and an apple. This too shall pass.
